Gearing Up for the Lord Mayors Christmas Carols

The Vocal Manoeuvres Academy Carols Choir and Backing Vocalists are thrilled to be gearing up for yet another exciting performance at Brisbane’s premier Christmas celebration, The Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols, at the Brisbane Riverstage this Saturday.
Featuring some of Australia’s most renowned singers, entertainers, celebrities and performers including: Katie Noonan, Paulini, Mahalia Barnes, Luke Kennedy, Angela Fabian, Virgilio Marino, Julie Lea Goodwin, Emma Pask, Isaiah and from New York City, RnB sensation, Polo to name but a few.
The concert will feature a symphony orchestra directed and conducted by John Foreman who we have had the pleasure of working with on a number of occasions. Vocal Manoeuvres Academy Director, Alison Rogers, commented:
“The Lord Mayors Christmas Carols is always a highlight on the VM Academy calendar! It is a wonderful opportunity to showcase our spectacularly talented vocalists and also for Academy members to meet and work with some fantastic artists. The concert is a great experience for us all!"
We hope you can all make it to what is sure to be a magical celebration of Christmas! Gates at the City Botanic Gardens Riverstage open at 4pm and no tickets are required.
For those who can’t be there in person, the event will be televised at 3pm on Saturday 23rd December and 6am on Sunday 24th December.
